While dedicated to understanding and expressing Balkan traditions, the group is unique in its simultaneous dedication to personal expression: creative musicians bringing their Black, white, and Roma lived experience into the creation of community and art. The band's Tuesday night residency in Brooklyn – running for over 20 years – has become a destination for music fans from around the world.
